| Description | The antibody detects endogenous levels of MEIS3 protein. MEIS3 (Meis Homeobox 3) is a Protein Coding gene. GO annotations related to MEIS3 include sequence-specific DNA binding and transcriptional activator activity, RNA polymerase II core promoter proximal region sequence-specific binding. An important paralog of MEIS3 is MEIS2. MEIS3 encodes a homeobox protein and probable transcriptional regulator. The orthologous protein in mouse controls expression of 3-phosphoinositide dependent protein kinase 1, which promotes survival of pancreatic beta-cells. |
