| Description | Rabbit anti c-Jun (pSer243) antibody recognizes proto-oncogene c-Jun, also known as V-jun avian sarcoma virus 17 oncogene homolog and p39, when phosphorylated at threonine 243. c-Jun is a member of the Jun family of transcription factors and is a subunit of the AP-1 transcription factor. c-Jun dimerizes with c-Fos, JDP and ATF family members to form the AP-1 transcription factor. AP-1 is activated by a variety of stimuli including cytokines, stress and growth factors and plays a critical role in cellular processes ranging from proliferation to apoptosis.
