| Description | Specificity: Human Neurokinin A Receptor. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins, except TACR1 (47%). NK2R is a Tachykinin Receptor activated by the neuropeptide substance K, also referred to as neurokinin A. It mediates smooth muscle contraction in central airway and may contribute to the development of asthma. Immunohistochemistry: MBS240078 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry - on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
