| Description | Specificity: Endogenous levels of human, mouse, and rat SAP102. Positive Control: Mouse brain, rat brain, and SH-SY5Y. DLG3/SAP102 is a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinaseprotein family. the encoded protein may play a role in clustering ofNMDA receptors at excitatory synapses. It may also negatively regulatecell proliferation through interaction with the C-terminal region of the adenomatosis polyposis coli tumor suppressor protein. Mutations in thisgene have been associated with X-linked mental retardation.Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. |
