| Description | This GFRA2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 361-390 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human GFRA2. Glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) andneurturin (NTN) are two structurally related, potent neurotrophicfactors that play key roles in the control of neuron survival anddifferentiation. The protein encoded by this gene is a member ofthe GDNF receptor family. It is aglycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)-linked cell surface receptor forboth GDNF and NTN, and mediates activation of the RET tyrosinekinase receptor.
