| Description | Anti-KvBeta1.1 K+ channel Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with KvBeta1.1 K+ channel from mouse, human, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Does not cross react with KVbeta1.2, 1.3 or 2. Cross-reactivity with KvBeta1.1 K+ channel from other sources has not been determined. Ion Channels research. Depolarization-activated potassium channels (Kv) play a major role in shaping the electrical signals in the nervous system. KvBeta1.1 is expressed abundantly in rat brain, and is known to induce inactivation of the delayed rectifier channel Kv1.1 and Kv1.4Delta1-110. |
