| Description | Anti-PAN-MAGUK Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with MAGUK from Mouse, Human, Zebrafish, Xenopus, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with MAGUK from other sources has not been determined. Scaffolds research. Membrane associated guanylate kinases (MAGUKs) form a family of scaffolding proteins, which are often associated with cellular junctions. Their capacity to serve as platforms for organizing larger protein assemblies results from the presence of several protein-protein interaction domains. PDZ-domain containing proteins of the MAGUK family target, anchor and cluster receptors and channels to subcellular sites. |
