| Description | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using KLH coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum and KLH. Anti-KLH antibody allows for the detection of KLH, important for monitoring immune Response, infection and inflammation. Keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) is a large metal-containing protein consisting of 400 kDa subunits that is frequently used carrier protein in immunization procedures. KLH is most typically conjugated to a small molecule, peptide, or protein thereby rendering the complex highly immunogenic. KLH has been used as a carrier for vaccines and antigens and as adjuvant treatment in regimens such as antimicrobial therapy. This Anti-KLH antibody has been conjugated to rhodamine. |
