| Description | Anti-KAT II was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with human, rat, and mouse based on 100% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with KAT II from other sources has not been determined. Kynurenine aminotransferase II (KATII) is the major enzyme responsible for the synthesis of the endogenous neuroprotectant kynurenic acid in the brain. Anti-KAT II antibody is ideal for researchers interested in Metabolism and Signal Transduction research. |
