| Description | Anti-Aha 2 Antibody was purified by Protein A chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Aha 2 from Human, Mouse, and Rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross reacts with Aha1. Cross-reactivity with Aha2 from other sources has not been determined. Heat Shock research. The Arabidopsis protein RIN4 is a well known regulator of plant immunity. The plasma membrane H+-ATPases Aha1 and Aha2 are one class of RIN4-associated proteins. Aha1 and Aha2 play a crucial role in resisting pathogen invasion- plants use RIN4 to regulate H+-ATPase activity during immune responses, thereby controlling stomatal apertures during pathogen attack. Wild type AHA2 has been found to be localized to the plasma membrane, and has also been found in the ER. |
