It is a glycosylated mitogen that specifically acts on endothelial cells and has various effects such as mediating increased vascular permeability, endothelial cell growth, promoting cell migration, inducing angiogenesis and inhibiting apoptosis. Detects endogenous levels of total VEGFA by Western blot in whole cell and tissue lysates. |
