| Description | CD9 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. This protein functions in many cellular processes including differentiation, adhesion, and signal transduction, playing a critical role in the suppression of cancer cell motility and metastasis. Reacts with CD9 detected by Western blot using the following human (Jurkat, MCF7, HeLa, HEK-293), mouse (NIH3T3) whole cell lysates. |
