It inhibits farnesyl diphosphate synthase, reducing protein prenylation, inducing osteoclast apoptosis, and inhibiting bone resorption. It reduces adhesion molecules on bone marrow stromal cells and blocks angiogenesis through inhibition of endothelial progenitor cell differentiation. It is provided as an off-white powder. This product acts on the following biochemical pathways: Apoptosis inducer, Posttranslational modification, Proliferation. This product may be of interest in the following research areas and diseases: Cell death, Cancer, Osteoporosis.
