| Description | The competitive Serotonin Ultrasensitive ELISA kit uses the microtiter plate format. Derivated serotonin competes for a fixed number of antiserum binding sites. When the system is in equilibrium, free Antigens and free Antigens-antiserum complexes are removed by washing. The antibody bound to the solid phase serotonin is detected by anti-rabbit/peroxidase. The substrate TMB / peroxidase reaction is monitored at 450 nm. The amount of antibody bound to the solid phase serotonin is inversely proportional to the serotonin concentration of the sample. Sample types: biological fluids. Range: 0.67 - 20 pg/sample. Sensitivity: 0.39 pg/sample. Incubation time: overnight |
