| Description | A microtiter plate is coated with monoclonal antibodies specific for Helicobacter pylori. The Helicobacter pylori antigen in the sample is bound by the immobilized antibodies during the first incubation step. At the same time, a peroxidase-labeled monoclonal antibody binds the Helicobacter pylori antigen. After a washing step tetramethylbenzidine is used as substrate for peroxidase. Finally, an acidic stop solution is added to terminate the reaction. The colour changes from blue to yellow. The intensity of the colour is proportional to the amount of analyte |
