| Description | TIM-3 Antibody Kit, anti-mouse, APC, REAlease®. Clone REAL168 is an antibody fragment derived from the full TIM-3 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAlease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL168 recognizes the mouse TIM-3 antigen, which is a T?1-specific cell surface protein expressed by differentiated CD4+ T?1 and CD8+ Tc1 cells and macrophages. It is absent on CD4+ T?2 and CD8+ Tc2 cells. TIM-3 has been proposed to inhibit T?1-mediated immune responses. TIM-3 absence enhances the severity of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in mice. The interaction of TIM-3 and galectin-9 induces apoptosis of T?1 cells. | The REAlease Kits consist of the respective fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes and the REAlease Support Kit for removal of the REAlease Complexes and optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAlease Complexes. |
