Product Name | APOH, 20-345aa, Human, His-tag, Baculovirus |
Description | Purity > 95% by SDS-PAGE. APOH, also known as Beta-2-glycoprotein 1, is a glycosylated member of the complement control superfamily of proteins. APOH binds to various kinds of negatively charged substances such as heparin, phospholipids, and dextran sulfate. This protein may prevent activation of the intrinsic blood coagulation cascade by binding to phospholipids on the surface of damaged cells. It has a complex involvement in agglutination, it appears to alter Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) mediated agglutination of platelets. Recombinant human APOH protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
