Product Name | Recombinant human RNA polymerases I, II, and III subunit RPABC2/POLR2F protein |
Description | Domain: 1-127aa. Recombinant human POLR2F protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. MW: 16.9 kDa (150aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). Purity > 95% by SDS-PAGE. POLR2F is the sixth largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes, that is also shared by the other two DNA-directed RNA polymerases. In yeast, this polymerase subunit, in combination with at least two other subunits, forms a structure that stabilizes the transcribing polymerase on the DNA template |
