MW: 26.3 kDa (231aa). Purity > 90% by SDS-PAGE. IL34, also known as interleukin-34 isoform 1, is a secreted cytokine. This protein is expressed in a variety of tissues richest in the spleen and stimulates the proliferation of monocytes. In a functional study, IL-34, such as CSF-1, another ligand for CSF-1R, stimulated phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase-1 and -2 (ERK1 / 2) in human monocytes.
