Product Name | SIRT2 cDNA |
Description | SIRT2 (NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-2) is a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. Members of the sirtuin family are characterized by a sirtuin core domain and grouped into four classes and are involved in diverse processes, including transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, DNA-damage repair and aging. SIRT2 is a NAD-dependent deacetylase, which deacetylates the 'Lys-40' of alpha-tubulin. This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF. It is inseted BamH I to Xho I. The gene insert contains multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene and recombination site into your expression vector. |
