Description | Purity Single band on Western blot. G-CSF is a growth factor and/or cytokine produced by the endothelium, macrophages and a number of other immune cells. G-CSF stimulates the bone marrow to produce granulocytes and also to stimulate the survival, proliferation, differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenator cells and mature neutrophils. RANDOX recombinant G-CSF comprises a 174 amino acid fragment (31-204) corresponding to the mature short form of the G-CSF protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use. |
