GM-CSF is a potent species-specific growth factor produced by a variety of cell types including T cells, B cells, macrophages, mast cells and endothelial cells. GM-CSF is produced in response to cytokine or immune stimulation and has been shown to stimulate the proliferation, maturation and function of hematopoietic cells. RANDOX recombinant GM-CSF comprises a 127 amino acid fragment (18-144) corresponding to the mature GM CSF protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use. |
