Description | Goat anti-SERPING1 polyclonal antibody, unconjugated |
Immunogen | C1 esterase inhibitor is a single chain acid glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 110,000. The protein has a high carbohydrate content. In immunoelectrophoresis it ha an alpha mobility. The concentration in normal serum ranges from 150 to 350 µ g/ml. Reduced levels are observed in hereditary angioedema. It regulates the activation of complement factor C1 as well as the activity of activated C1 by coupling with the active catalytic site at the light chains of C1r and C1s. Moreover it also inhibits, kallikrein, Factor XI and Factor XII. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure. |
