| Description | Epitope: aa 1-144. The antibody works poorly in detecting UNC-10 on immunoblots [PMID: 20405020]. Specific to UNC-10 except that some faint staining was observed in the pharynx of unc-10 mutant [md1117]. By immunofluorescence microscopy on whole mount C. elegans fixed with methanol/acetone, staining was restricted to discrete puncta (active zones) in synapse-rich regions of the nervous system including the nerve ring, the ventral nerve cord and the dorsal nerve cord. The Rab-3-interacting molecule unc-10 (Rim) localizes to the periphery of the active zone in neurons. Antibody Registry ID: AB_579790 |
