| Description | The epitope is a polypeptide determinant located on the extracellular region of NCAM (25 kDa subtilisin heparin-binding fragment); estimated to be located around 150 aa from N-terminus. Doesn't cross react with frog (Rana pipiens) NCAM. Attenuates NCAM-NCAM binding. Satins all NCAM positive tissues. Recognizes all isoforms. 5e has been reported to work on Bufo arenarum [PMID: 8901203] but doesn't appear to work on rana pipiens [PMID: 2307708]. Antibody Registry ID: AB_2058005 |
