Description | The alpha sarcoglican is a component of the sarcoglycan complex, a subcomplex of the dystrophin-glycoprotein complex which forms a link between the F-actin cytoskeleton and the extracellular matrix. This antibody doesn't work on canine western blots. IVD3(1)A9 works under nonreducing conditions (and not under reducing conditions) for western blotting. One reference states that the epitope is located in the C-terminal region [PMID: 8040315].
